On Sunday, April 5th, the 2020 edition of run4change will be held, organised by Rotary Club Zurich Belvoir International. In this month’s Rotary Talk, Cory Edwards presents the project which enables kids from Switzerland to help kids from Mozambique.
For the Rotary Talk of February, I’ve met with Cory Edwards, member of Rotary Club Zurich Belvoir International. His club consists of 19 nationalities and the first language is English. For the eighth year the international club is organising run4change – a family-oriented charity run at Sihlhölzli Sports Facility in Zurich.
The name says it all: Rotary Club Zurich Belvoir International will pass on 100% of the donations to DREAM 2.0 to help improve the health of children in Mozambique suffering long-term effects from a natural disaster. Here it’s about kids helping kids. This is also what Cory Edwards emphasised at our meeting.
Everyone is warmly welcomed to participate in the event and enjoy the great atmosphere. Not only runners. Especially families with primary school age children have a great experience.

Rotary Talk (Video): run4change – Kinder helfen Kindern
Am 5. April 2020 findet der run4change statt, ein Sponsorenlauf des Rotary Clubs Zürich Belvoir International. Im Rotary Talk stellt Cory Edwarts das Projekt vor, bei dem Kinder aus der Schweiz Kindern aus Mozambique helfen können.
Für den Rotary-Talk vom Februar habe ich mich mit Cory Edwards vom Rotary Club Zürich Belvoir International getroffen. Sein Club vereint 19 Nationalitäten und die Hauptsprache ist Englisch. Seit acht Jahren organisiert der internationale Club run4change – ein Sponsorenlauf auf der Sportanlage Sihlhölzli in Zürich.
Der Name ist Programm: Hundert Prozent der Spenden gehen dieses Jahr an DREAM 2.0. Die Organisation setzt sich unter anderem für Kinder in Mozambique ein, ein Land gezeichnet von Naturkatastrophen und Krankheiten. Dass Kindern aus Mozambique mit jeder Runde geholfen wird, motiviert die Teilnehmenden von run4change besonders – vor allem die Kinder, wie mir Cory Edwarts bei unserem Treffen sagte.
Es sind jedoch nicht nur Läuferinnen und Läufer herzlich eingeladen. Alle können vorbeikommen und die grossartige Atmosphäre geniessen. Seid am 5. April 2020 dabei – als Teilnehmer, Sponsoren oder Zuschauer.
